honey-ginger-tea

On a cold winter day or when feeling under the weather, there are several teas that are very soothing for the throat.  One of my favorites is “Honey Ginger Tea” ~inspired by Dr. Tae Yun Kim

Honey Ginger tea is easy to make from scratch.

Purchase some raw ginger from your local grocery store. Peel 1″ of the outer layer off of the ginger. Either grate the ginger or cut a slice then cut the slice into small pieces.  Put the ginger pieces into a small saucepan with water.  Add honey and cinnamon (to taste) to the saucepan.  Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour the Honey Ginger tea into a cup.  Add the ginger pieces to the cup.  And you have your very own healing Honey Ginger Tea.

Ingredients: water, raw ginger, honey, cinnamon

Have a Great Healing Day!
